Our community offers a great public high school experience in Warren Township HS.   Awards have included a “Those Who Excel” recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education and a national “Blue Ribbon School” recognition from the U.S. Department of Education.  For the last six consecutive years, Warren has been named as one of the best high schools in America by the Washington Post.   

Although everyone has their choice, Carmel Catholic is a choice many of our neighbors choose for private high school education.   Carmel Catholic is one of two schools in the state and less than 10 schools nationwide to receive the prestigious Blue Ribbon School award by the U.S. Department of Education four times.

You can only believe the options around town for dining and shopping.  From Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, all of Gurnee Mills and many local shops to dining options of The Chocolate Sanctuary, Steven's, Only Child Brewing and many many more options all close by to SEHA.  

If you're looking for your family to get involved, look no further than the Award Winning Gurnee Park District.  In 2010, Gurnee Park District won the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.   And it's in our backyard!
