Grade schools in Gurnee, Illinois are primarily served by
Gurnee School District 56 and Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50.

 Warren Township High School (WTHS),  is a public four-year high school located in Gurnee, Illinois.  Because of size of the student body, the school is split across two  campuses: the O'Plaine Road Campus for freshmen and sophomores, and the  Almond Road Campus for juniors and seniors. It is part of Warren  Township High School District 121.  

Although everyone has their choice, Carmel Catholic in Mundelein, IL is a choice many of our neighbors choose for private high school education.   

The College of Lake County, commonly referred to as CLC, is a public community college in Lake County, Illinois. CLC's primary campus is located in Grayslake and two other campuses exist in nearby Waukegan and Vernon Hills. The Grayslake campus ia 2.5 miles Southwest of our community.
